There are a few surprising aspects to HK that I thought you might enjoy. I will add to this regularly but here's a start...
- There are 24 hour McDonalds in Honk Kong
- McDonalds serve sausage and egg McMuffins all day not just for breakfast :)
- You are more likely to see a dog on a lead than on a menu :) :)
- Hills have escalators
- There are designer shops going East to West and Street Markets North to South selling very similar items at very different prices
- You can buy the Rolling Stone here :)
- You can buy a beer for 55 pence!! :)
- taxis are really cheap and they have automatic doors!!
